                       Welcome to Forest View Guesthouse…. Conveniently located close to the centre of Kyiv in the quiet tranquil surroundings of a vast ancient forest where once resided Nightingale Outlaw a legendary figure in tales of Ancient Rus’.
  The Owner is from England and speaks both English and Russian Languages. He can help to organize tours of Kyiv and  other interesting attractions around Ukraine in his own vehicle. You could take an evening stroll around Kyiv, or a trip to beautiful ancient churches and historical places,  sample the local cuisine in Kyiv restaurants or in a homely atmosphere,  take a boat trip on the Dnipro,  or choose from the  many souvenirs sold on St Andrews descent a long winding cobblestone street in the heart of old Kyiv. You could have your photo taken in national costume, visit the museum of folk architecture and life, let your hair down in local night clubs, or cook meat, shish kebabs and fresh fish soup by the river bank or in a forest glade. You could take a walk through soviet industrial architecture, or a trip to the ghost town Pripyat where everything is preserved from soviet times and then on to the sarcophagus at Chernobyl. Or maybe go to the Opera or Ballet, or the international ethnic and world music festival Krayina Mriy , take time to listen to Ukrainian folk music, blues, jazz or rock in comfortable venues, or visit O’Briens Irish Pub. In the evenings you can relax in the hydro-massage tub, go to the sauna, take a quiet stroll through the forest or watch good films on the home theatre system. Those interested in ethnography and history might wish to meet with the locals, folk craftsmen, musicians, folklorists, attend concerts, or take a look at your hosts collection of Ukrainian musical instruments and costumes.
